Giving Back

The Schuyler County Italian American Festival committee believes strongly in giving back to their community.

Some of the organizations that have received donations include:

American Red Cross Disaster Relief, Boy Scouts of America, Burdett Fire Dept., Catholic Charities First Step Program, Concerts in the Park, Crystal Valley Mennonite Church, Elizabeth Amasano Cancer Fund, Montour Falls Fire Dept., NYS Wine Grape Growers (in Memory of Monty Stamp), RSVP, Seneca Santa, Sch. Co. Deputy Sheriff’s Ass0c., Sch. Co. Little League, Schuyler Headstart, Schuyler Health Foundation, Schuyler Co. Humane Society, Schuyler Outreach, Schuyler Co. Strong Kids/Safe Kids, Labor of Love, Andrew "AJ" Sperr Mem. Scholarship, Watkins Glen Fire Dept. & Rescue Squad, Watkins Glen Police Benevolent Ass0c.

The Festival also annually funds scholarships for graduating seniors in all Schuyler Co. School Districts.

The Festival Committee is proud of the fact that, over the past five years, nearly $70,000 has been donated to the organizations listed above, as well as other local groups and deserving area graduates who received scholarship awards.
